O Paraná alcançou a marca de 357 municípios integrados ao Sistema Nacional de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional (Sisan), o que representa 89,9% das cidades do estado.
Com esse número, o Paraná ocupa a 2ª posição nacional, ficando atrás apenas de Roraima (93,3%), e responde por quase 20% de todas as adesões feitas no Brasil.
Novos municípios que aderiram ao Sisan:
- Bela Vista da Caroba
- Entre Rios do Oeste
- Imbaú
- Ivaí
- Santa Amélia
- Santa Helena
- Santa Tereza do Oeste
O que é o Sisan?
Criado em 2006, o Sisan tem como objetivo garantir o Direito Humano à Alimentação Adequada (DHAA), assegurando acesso a alimentos em quantidade e qualidade suficientes. Desde 2010, esse direito está previsto na Constituição Federal.
O sistema promove:
Formulação e implementação de políticas públicas de combate à fome
Integração entre governo e sociedade civil
Monitoramento e avaliação da segurança alimentar e nutricional
“A adesão representa um termo de compromisso dos governos com a população e com o direito à alimentação adequada”, destacou Márcia Stolarski, chefe do Departamento de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional da Seab.
