O Hospital Infantil Waldemar Monastier, em Campo Largo, Região Metropolitana de Curitiba, passou a contar com o projeto HumanizaMente, lançado em agosto pela Secretaria de Estado da Saúde (Sesa). A iniciativa busca cuidar da saúde mental de pacientes, familiares e profissionais, reduzindo o desgaste causado por longos internamentos.
Inspirado nos princípios da Política Nacional de Humanização (PNH), o programa faz parte do atendimento integral do SUS e valoriza a escuta, o acolhimento e a atenção psicossocial dentro do hospital.
Impactos do internamento prolongado
Segundo a psicóloga Talita Lisandra Rosa, crianças internadas por longos períodos podem apresentar crises de choro, medo excessivo e irritabilidade até mesmo após a alta. Já os pais e acompanhantes lidam com insegurança e sobrecarga emocional, podendo adotar hábitos prejudiciais na relação com os filhos.
Ações previstas
- Para pacientes e familiares: “horas de qualidade” com passeios e atividades fora da rotina hospitalar.
- Para profissionais: rodas de escuta, apoio psicológico individual e incentivo ao autocuidado.
O secretário estadual da Saúde, Beto Preto, destacou que o projeto é um avanço importante:
“Cuidar da saúde mental de quem está no hospital, seja profissional, paciente ou acompanhante, é fundamental para um ambiente mais humano e acolhedor.”
A diretora-geral do hospital, Karina Chiquitti, reforça que a expectativa é consolidar o programa como parte da cultura da instituição, trazendo mais leveza e qualidade de vida para todos.
