Campo Largo, conhecida como a Capital Nacional da Louça, sedia até 14 de setembro a 32ª edição da Feira da Louça, uma das principais referências do setor cerâmico no Brasil.
O evento acontece no City Center Outlet Premium, em um espaço de mais de 6 mil m², reunindo 70 expositores entre indústrias, artesãos e serviços. A expectativa é de 180 mil visitantes durante os 11 dias de programação.
A programação inclui aulas-show com chefs renomados em parceria com o Sebrae/PR. O destaque será a presença do chef francês Claude Troisgros, no dia 10 de setembro, às 18h, na cozinha Senac montada no espaço.
Segundo o vice-governador Darci Piana, a feira tem papel estratégico para o Paraná. Já o diretor-geral da Setu, Jefferson Abade, destacou que o evento está em processo para obter reconhecimento oficial como evento turístico do Estado.
Além das louças, a feira valoriza os produtos paranaenses com Indicação Geográfica (IG), como a erva-mate de São Mateus do Sul, o mel de Ortigueira, a cachaça de Morretes, a broa de centeio de Curitiba, o queijo de Guaraniaçu, a goiabada de Carlópolis, a poncã de Cerro Azul e ovinho de Bituruna.
Campo Largo responde por 75% da produção nacional de louça profissional, utilizada em hotéis, bares e restaurantes em todo o país.
