Em discurso no Espírito Santo, presidente Lula afirma que ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro mandou o filho, deputado Eduardo Bolsonaro, aos Estados Unidos para pedir a Trump que evitar sua prisão.
O que disse Lula
O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) afirmou que Jair Bolsonaro teria enviado o filho, Eduardo Bolsonaro, aos EUA com o objetivo de solicitar ajuda ao ex-presidente Donald Trump para evitar sua prisão — em meio à ação penal por suposta tentativa de golpe de Estado no Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) Extra+9Terra+9CNN Brasil+9.
Em tom provocativo durante evento em Linhares (ES), Lula chamou Bolsonaro de “coisa covarde” e criticou a postura do ex-presidente:
“Ele mandou o filho dele para os Estados Unidos pedir para o Trump fazer ameaça… ‘Trump, salva meu pai, não deixa meu pai ser preso’” UOL Notícias+4Terra+4CNN Brasil+4.
O presidente ironizou ainda a presença de Eduardo lendo uma carta nos EUA:

Lula também vinculou o apoio de Trump à taxação de 50% sobre produtos brasileiros como consequência da articulação da família Bolsonaro junto ao republicano.
“É preciso criar vergonha na cara… os EUA não têm déficit comercial com o Brasil, é o Brasil que tem déficit. Eu que deveria taxar eles”, alfinetou o presidente UOL Notícias+10Terra+10CNN Brasil+10.
Contexto da crise comercial
A taxação de 50%, anunciada por Trump com validade a partir de 1º de agosto, intensificou a guerra diplomática entre os países.
