A Prefeitura de Curitiba decidiu não desperdiçar o recesso escolar. Com o início das férias, a Secretaria Municipal da Educação intensificou as obras em 69 escolas e CMEIs da rede pública, numa força-tarefa que mira entregar espaços mais seguros e funcionais até o retorno das aulas, no próximo dia 23.
Ações visam minimizar impactos no calendário letivo
De acordo com o secretário Jean Pierre Neto, o trabalho é estratégico: “As manutenções ocorrem o ano todo, mas esse período permite intervenções maiores, sem prejudicar o ritmo das aulas”. A operação abrange todas as dez regionais.
Obras vão de reparos a revitalizações completas
As melhorias incluem reformas em telhados, muros, calhas, banheiros, caixas d’água, solários e refeitórios. “Estamos substituindo pisos, pintando áreas externas e renovando ambientes que exigem maior intervenção”, explica Vinícius Faraj, superintendente de Infraestrutura e Logística.

Mais de 450 intervenções só em 2025
Desde janeiro, já são 460 obras realizadas em escolas e CMEIs da capital. O planejamento teve início logo no começo do ano letivo, com um mapeamento técnico liderado por engenheiros e arquitetos da secretaria.
“Estamos devolvendo à população espaços escolares mais seguros, acolhedores e preparados para a aprendizagem”, resume o secretário.
