A tão aguardada Ponte de Guaratuba, no Litoral do Paraná, atingiu 60% de execução no fim de maio, segundo relatório divulgado pelo Departamento de Estradas de Rodagem do Paraná (DER/PR). O avanço inclui obras significativas nos acessos dos dois lados da travessia, em Guaratuba e Matinhos.
No lado de Guaratuba, os trabalhos se concentraram na escavação do morro e na execução de contenções com solo grampeado, estacas raiz, tirantes e vigas de travamento. Já no lado de Matinhos, continuam as atividades de drenagem, terraplenagem e pavimentação. O projeto contempla ainda 3,07 km de extensão, com quatro faixas de tráfego, ciclovias, calçadas e iluminação pública.
A infraestrutura já soma 50 estacas concretadas, das 64 previstas, e 12 travessas concluídas. A superestrutura segue com 95 vigas longarinas pré-moldadas fabricadas e 80 lançadas, além de nove lajes de tabuleiro finalizadas de um total de 23. No trecho estaiado, já foi concluída a aduela de partida do apoio 04, marco importante para a construção com balanços sucessivos.
Com mais de 600 empregos diretos gerados, a obra é considerada a mais icônica da engenharia paranaense nos últimos anos, tanto pela complexidade técnica quanto pelo impacto regional. A ponte contará com mais de 1.200 metros de extensão, calçadas, ciclovias e infraestrutura moderna para moradores, turistas e o transporte regional.
Acesso ao progresso — Para uma região há décadas marcada pela dependência da travessia por ferry boat, a Ponte de Guaratuba representa mais que mobilidade: é símbolo de integração territorial, desenvolvimento socioeconômico e modernização da infraestrutura estadual. Ainda assim, sua execução impõe o desafio de conciliar avanço técnico com preservação ambiental e controle social sobre os investimentos — um equilíbrio que precisa ser constantemente monitorado.
